Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham did not play against No. 24 NC State on Saturday because of a right shoulder injury.
Cunningham, Louisville's leading passer (1,552 yards) and rusher (561) headed into Saturday, injured the shoulder against Clemson last week.
Junior Brock Domann notched his second career start for Louisville in his place. He started earlier in the year when Cunningham missed the Virginia game with concussion-like symptoms.
On Satuday, Domann completed 12 of 25 passes for 153 yards in the 25-10 victory over the Wolfpack. He also carried the ball six times for 26 yards as the Cardinals improved to 7-4 overall, 4-4 in the ACC.
Domann completed 17 of 30 passes against Virginia, finishing with 275 yards in a 34-17 Louisville win. Domann had two interceptions and a touchdown in that game. He went 13-for-23 against Clemson last week playing in relief of Cunningham, throwing for one touchdown and one interception.
Louisville travels to Kentucky to close the season next week.
