As college football closes out its October slate, team, social media pages kept the quality content coming with their post-win trolls.
The Pittsburgh Panthers made a statement Thursday night, defeating the Syracuse Orange 41-13 to stay undefeated. The Panthers' defense won the day, picking off Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord five times -- including three first-half pick-sixes.
Pitt's social media team used Syracuse's Orange moniker to reference the fruit with which it shares a name. Their graphic showed a Panther eyeing an empty glass of orange juice, with a "freshly squeezed" caption to match.

Here's a look at some of the best postgame jabs from Week 9 of the college football season.
Kennesaw State 27, Liberty 24
One of the biggest upsets of the college football season came Wednesday night, as the previously winless Kennesaw State Owls shocked the previo-usly unbeaten Liberty Flames in Georgia. The result marked only the sixth time in the AP poll era (since 1936) an 0-5 or worse team beat a 5-0 or better team.
The Owls celebrated the win with another mascot-related troll, taking aim at Liberty's fiery mascot. The team's postgame win graphic was partnered with an "extinguished" caption.

Memphis 33, Charlotte 28
The Memphis Tigers added another win Saturday to secure a 7-1 record, dispatching the Charlotte 49ers 33-28. The contest wasn't without late drama, however, as the lead changed hands three times over the final two minutes. A 24-yard pass from Seth Henigan to Roc Taylor put the Tigers ahead for good with 31 seconds left.
Memphis also offered a mascot-oriented jab after the victory, using a "struck gold" caption to poke at the 49ers' mascot and logo, which features a pickax.

Boise State 29, UNLV 24
The Boise State Broncos prevailed Friday night in a game that could go a long way in determining the final Mountain West Conference standings, outlasting the UNLV Rebels on the road 29-24 to move to 3-0 in conference play.
The Broncos celebrated the win in Allegiant Stadium with a reference to an iconic phrase from UNLV's home city.

UConn 17, Rice 10
The "owl sweep" is complete in Storrs. Four FBS programs use owl mascots, and three were on the UConn Huskies' schedule this season. The Huskies bested the Rice Owls 17-10 on Saturday, taking care of all three of their owl opponents.
A nod to the noise made by owls was only appropriate, as the UConn social media paid homage to their own Huskies mascot with a tweaked line from Baha Men's hit "Who Let the Dogs Out."

Iowa 40, Northwestern 14
The Iowa Hawkeyes' offensive revolution is here, and it's glorious. Saturday's win over the Northwestern Wildcats marked the third time this season the Hawkeyes have scored 40 or more points, the first time since 2018 that Iowa has achieved such a feat.
The Hawkeye's postgame victory graphic featured a hawk sitting atop a birdcage with a cat trapped inside.
