After blowing through the rest of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive field, Team Liquid and ENCE finally got a shot at each other on Sunday in the grand final at DreamHack Masters Dallas.

And the matchup delivered, with the two squads needing three games -- and every point they could muster -- to determine a winner. In the end, Team Liquid finished on top, taking the best-of-three match with a 16-13 win in the deciding game.

After beating ENCE 16-8 on Mirage, Team Liquid fell 19-17 on Overpass. But the American/Dutch outfit -- comprised of American and Canadian players for this tournament -- outlasted its Finnish opponent in Game 3 on Inferno.

And the celebration will be a prolonged one for Team Liquid, as after the match DreamHack tweeted that UPS lost the winner's trophy and the prize, once retrieved, will be shipped to Team Liquid.

With the win, Team Liquid picked up $100,000 of the $250,000 purse. The event, held at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, featured 16 teams divided into two groups that played double-elimination brackets.

The sides that won three straight within each group moved directly to the best-of-three semifinals. Two other teams from each group advanced to the best-of-three quarterfinals. The quarterfinals were played Friday and the semis held Sunday.
