The Houston Outlaws added Joao Pedro "Hydration" Goes Telles to their roster, pending Overwatch League approval, the team announced Friday.

Hydration previously played for the Los Angeles Gladiators, whom he joined in November 2017.

Hydration confirmed the move on social media and thanked his previous team for the experience.

"Gonna miss LA, but really excited for next season with the outlaws," he wrote in a series of tweets. "Thank you @LAGladiators for giving me the chance to play on the team these past 2 years. I learned a lot and am very grateful for the ride its been, no more #ShieldsUP but now we #AnteUp."

The roster update comes on the heels of news Thursday that the Outlaws parted ways with team member Wonhyeop "ArHaN" Jeong and named former Vancouver Titans assistant coach Harsha "Harsha" Bandi as their new head coach.

The Outlaws finished 16th out of 20 teams in the 2019 season after recording a 9-19 record.
