The New York Excelsior announced the addition of tank player Dong-wook "Bianca" Kim on Friday.

Bianca, who will turn 18 on New Year's Day to become age eligible for Season 3, comes to NYXL from the XL2 Academy team he joined in January. Before that, the South Korean placed for the MVP Space organization.

Bianca helped XL2 to a second-place finish in Overwatch Contenders 2019 Season 2: NA West in August before the team finished 5-6th at The Gauntlet last month.

He is the second tank player added by NYXL this month, joining Hongjun "Hotba" Choi.

"Please join us in welcoming @BiaNcA_ow to the @andbox_official family as the newest member of the NYXL squad," the team tweeted on Friday.

Boston Uprising

The Boston Uprising have signed former Angry Titans off-tank Thomas "Brussen" Brussen, according to multiple reports Friday.

A member of Team Netherlands at last month's Overwatch World Cup, Brussen has also played for EU Contenders team Young and Beautiful.

Arran "Halo" Brown was first to report the signing on Friday, with sources confirming the report to The Game Haus.

Angry Titans finished fifth in EU Contenders Season 2, with Brussen playing for current Uprising coach Ilias "Ilka" Kaskanetas.

Brussen's signing comes after the Uprising added main damage player Sang-Beom "Munchkin" Byun on Thursday.

The 2020 OWL season kicks off Feb 8., with the Uprising opening their season Feb. 9 vs. the New York Excelsior.
