Dylan "aKm" Bignet of the Dallas Fuel announced that he will retire as a player following the next Overwatch League season.

The 23-year-old French Hitscan DPS player cited his love of competition for his incentive to continue with the Dallas Fuel.

"I still want to compete and the new OWL format could potentially bring the passion I once had back, and it's something I could probably never experience again in my life," aKm wrote on Reddit.

"... No matter what happens to me, I'll give 200% for the team this season, especially since I think I still have a lot to bring to the team. My love for competition is still super strong, and I couldn't just give it up."

The Dallas Fuel signed aKm ahead of the Overwatch League's inaugural season in 2018.
