The Call of Duty League is under scrutiny again after a player noticed the league schedule doesn't place the Chicago Huntsmen or Atlanta FaZe in the same group at any CDL homestand this year.
Los Angeles Guerrillas player Patrick "ACHES" Price pointed out the discrepancy on Twitter and noted that every other team is in a group with the other 11 squads in the CDL at least once in 2020. It's not the first time ACHES has had a gripe with the CDL -- he was vocal about his displeasure when the Guerrillas were forced to forfeit a map win in an eventual 3-2 loss to the Minnesota RØKKR this weekend -- but this one has struck a spark outside the Guerrillas fanbase as well.
"Kinda funny how two teams are never in the same group as if the league wants the two biggest brands making the bracket," ACHES wrote in a note he posted on Twitter.

I just want to see the League be strong on its values of competitive integrity and with that, succeed for many years to come. If that means pointing out massive flaws in the current system in order to get changes that create a healthier system long term. Then so be it.

I assure you the other 10/12 teams who also put up $25m wouldn't be happy if the league was possibly showing bias to 2 teams for their benefit. I can keep making you look dumb all day man, just call it quits. https://t.co/1l6xojVONJ
