The Dallas Empire earned their second title of the Call of Duty League season with a 3-1 victory against the Atlanta FaZe on Sunday. Here's a look back at all the action, from group play to that championship match, in one sentence.

Day 1

Atlanta FaZe 3, London Royal Ravens 0

Azhir Cave, Hardpoint: Chris "Simp" Lehr breaks Scump's kill record with an insane 49-kill Hardpoint performance.

Arklov Peak, Search and Destroy: This is definitely London's best opportunity to take a map in this series, and they're going to want this one back after taking the lead and then losing it.

Hackney Yard, Domination: The Royal Ravens take the first round but are outmatched by the FaZe in the second round for another close FaZe win.

Seattle Surge 3, Los Angeles Guerrillas 0

Rammaza, Hardpoint: This comes down to the final few points as the Guerrillas get up to 243 and break onto Seattle's final Hardpoint, but Seattle outgun them in the end.

Arklov Peak, Search and Destroy: The Surge won on S&D; what is this sorcery?

Gun Runner, Domination: The last minute and a half of the first round gives the Surge a 31-point lead going into Round 2, and they don't look back.

Dallas Empire 3, Los Angeles OpTic 1

Gun Runner, Hardpoint: OpTic had said that they made their role swap because they were performing better on Hardpoint, but we don't see that here against an admittedly tough opponent in Dallas.

Arklov Peak, Search and Destroy: OpTic go up 4-0 before Dallas is able to answer, back but it's the only point Dallas manages to score in a 6-1 OpTic victory.

Hackney Yard, Domination: Dallas stays ahead of OpTic thanks to a strong finish to the first round.

Hackney Yard, Hardpoint: OpTic make a late-game rally but are unable to overcome the Empire, who take the series 3-1.

New York Subliners 3, Chicago Huntsmen 2

Gun Runner, Hardpoint: Dillon "Attach" Price and the Subliners make a statement by taking this Hardpoint by over 100 points.

St. Petrograd, Search and Destroy: Is New York going to do this?!

Gun Runner, Domination: The first round ends in a 74 draw, but the Huntsmen take it late in the second round to keep their hopes alive.

Hackney Yard, Hardpoint: Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson puts up a 10K to keep the Huntsmen from being eliminated.

Rammaza, Search and Destroy: The Subliners hold off a Huntsmen reverse-sweep with a convincing 6-3 win in S&D.

Day 2

Dallas Empire 3, Seattle Surge 1

Azhir Cave, Hardpoint: Octane puts up 40 kills, leading the Surge to a close Hardpoint win.

Gun Runner, Search and Destroy: One of Dallas' consistently strong map modes is S&D and Seattle's worst, although Seattle make this a fairly respectable in a 6-3 loss.

Gun Runner, Domination: The Empire take a very late and brief triple-cap in Round 2 to ultimately take the game 157-149.

Hackney Yard, Hardpoint: This entire series was closer than scorelines would suggest, but Dallas is ultimately the stronger and more cohesive team.

Atlanta FaZe 3, New York Subliners 2

Rammaza, Hardpoint: Thomas "ZooMaa" Paparatto finishes with 38 as the Subliners continue to make their case as a team to watch out for at this tournament.

Arklov Peak, Search and Destroy: One of the things about the FaZe's S&D is that it doesn't look as dominant as, say, Dallas, but they're able to come back from deficits and coordinate very well.

Hackney Yard, Domination: The FaZe take this map after a strong second round that featured a 59-point swing in their favor.

St. Petrograd, Hardpoint: There's a competitive delay due to FaZe's connection, and this one goes to New York in a 250-84 blowout.

St. Petrograd, Search and Destroy: Another dominant performance, this time for the FaZe in a 6-1 S&D win to send Atlanta to the semifinals.

Los Angeles Guerrillas 3, OpTic Los Angeles 1

Gun Runner, Hardpoint: This was a back-and-forth, fairly messy Map 1 where the Guerrillas ultimately came out on top.

Rammaza, Search and Destroy: After OpTic's S&D performance against the Empire, this 6-1 victory for the Guerrillas is very unexpected.

Gun Runner, Domination: OpTic stay ahead of the Guerrillas for most of this map and keep themselves in the series with a win.

Hackney Yard, Hardpoint: This was a great showing for the Guerrillas; you can tell that they still have a ways to go as a team, but their individual players are really starting to shine.

Chicago Huntsmen 3, London Royal Ravens 1

St. Petrograd, Hardpoint: The Ravens come within seven points of a win, but the Huntsmen ultimately come out on top.

Gun Runner, Search and Destroy: Dylan "Envoy" Hannon and Seth "Scump" Abner take the lead in an impressive 6-1 S&D win.

St. Petrograd, Domination: The Royal Ravens nearly put up 100 more points than Chicago in this Domination victory.

Azhir Cave, Hardpoint: This is yet another really close Hardpoint loss for the Royal Ravens, who are definitely going to want some maps back from this weekend.

Seattle Surge 3, Los Angeles Guerrillas 1

Rammaza, Hardpoint: Seattle smokes LA with nearly a 150-point lead.

Gun Runner, Search and Destroy: This may be closer than the Surge would have liked, but they close out a 6-4 S&D win.

St. Petrograd, Domination: The Guerrillas manage to take a map off of Seattle after controlling the B flag and one other point for the majority of the second round.

St. Petrograd, Hardpoint: Seattle remain undefeated against the Guerrillas, who have been the Surge's punching bag when they've both been at the same events.

Chicago Huntsmen 3, New York Subliners 1

Gun Runner, Hardpoint: The New York Subliners take another victory on Gun Runner Hardpoint against the Huntsmen, starting off this series similarly to their Friday match.

Arklov Peak, Search and Destroy: Arcitys, Envoy and Scump have strong performances in a 6-3 S&D win.

Hackney Yard, Domination: This is one of the closest Domination wins we've seen all year (minus the Florida "tie").

St. Petrograd, Hardpoint: The Huntsmen enact their revenge on the Subliners for Friday with a 250-167 win.

Day 3

Atlanta FaZe 3, Seattle Surge 1

Azhir Cave, Hardpoint: Simp one-ups himself by putting up 50, breaking the Call of Duty League kills record he set on Friday.

St. Petrograd, Search and Destroy: Credit where credit is due: The Surge's S&D is improving.

St. Petrograd, Domination: An early triple-cap sets Atlanta up for success and finishes this round well before the timer runs out.

Hackney Yard, Hardpoint: This is a closer Hardpoint, but Atlanta breaks onto the final point with a 5K by McArthur "Cellium" Jovel.

Dallas Empire 3, Chicago Huntsmen 0

Rammaza, Hardpoint: Dallas stays approximately 100 points ahead of the Huntsmen for most of the round, making a Chicago comeback difficult.

Gun Runner, Search and Destroy: The Empire continue their strong S&D performances with a 6-2 win here, putting Chicago in danger of losing their home series.

Hackney Yard, Domination: Dallas takes the lead in the last 20 seconds of the first round and then closes things out in the second for a 3-0 sweep.

Dallas Empire 3, Atlanta FaZe 1

Gun Runner, Hardpoint: Dallas' superior rotations force Atlanta to break several points, and while the FaZe are still great in their gunfights, they're just a step behind.

St. Petrograd, Search and Destroy: This comes down to a hype 1v1 between Simp and James "Clayster" Eubanks in Round 11.

Hackney Yard, Domination: Dallas gets an early triple-cap and really never looks back in this one.

St Petrograd, Hardpoint: The Empire are now indisputably the best team in the Call of Duty League right now.
