WePlay! and Riot Games have partnered to present WePlay! VALORANT Invitational, an official Ignition Series event.
The tournament will take place from July 13-19 and will feature a $50,000 prize pool.

Six teams have been invited so far: G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Prodigy, fish123, forZe and PartyParrots. An open qualifier will also take place from July 13-14, featuring two single elimination brackets with 128 teams in best-of-one matches, with the finals a best-of-three.
From there, the six invited and two qualified teams will compete in a swiss bracket group stage running from July 15-17. The semi finals will take place on July 18, and the Grand Final on July 19.
Several of the invited teams are still finalizing their rosters. G2 recently announced the signing of Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks, bringing their total to four players. Ardiis previously played on fish123, who are also a four-stack and one of the most prominent amateur teams. Ninjas in Pyjamas, meanwhile, have two on their main roster, Emir "rhyme" Muminovic and Niels "luckeRRR" Jasiek. Prodigy has seen a host of players compete under their banner, including Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, considered to be one of the top amateur European VALORANT players. PartyParrots are a team that have found success in emerging tournaments in June.
Founded in 2012, WePlay! is a Ukraine-based esports tournament organizer that has hosted several events across titles including CS:GO, DOTA 2 and League of Legends.
