Paul, in his age-34 season, not only led the young team on the court. He surprised fantasy basketball managers who figured he was too old or unlikely to thrive in a rebuilding situation by finishing ninth overall on the ESPN Player Rater and, unlike in recent seasons, showing durability. He played in 70 of 72 games.
