We're now two months into the NBA season, with most teams having played right around 20 games, and that's a big enough sample size to get a good idea of the type of numbers most players are going to put up this season.

One that stands out is Clint Capela, Houston's blossoming big man who continues to improve. An impressive week helped raise Capela's season averages to 17.3 PPG, 11.9 RPG and 2.0 BPG to go with a 65.4 FG% and 59.7 FT%.

If you didn't know any better, you might mistake those numbers for Rudy Gobert, someone I've ranked much higher -- inside the top 15, in fact -- for much of the season. Gobert's numbers (15.1 PPG, 12.7 RPG, 1.9 BPG, 69.1 FG% and 60.1 FT%) are comparable, and for that reason I've moved Gobert down from 13 to 17 while bumping Capela from 41 to 29.

These two are far from the only big men on the move this week, however. The shooting woes of Nikola Jokic (12) cause him to drop out of the top 10 for this first time this season, falling behind a couple of red-hot players in Paul George and Kemba Walker.

Marc Gasol (24) looks revitalized playing alongside bouncy rookie Jaren Jackson Jr., and his numbers are up nearly across the board from a season ago, with improvements in scoring, rebounding, 3-point shooting, steals and field goal percentage.

Jackson, meanwhile, is the biggest riser of the week, moving all the way up to 66 after averaging 18.0 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 3.0 APG, 5.0 BPG and 2.5 3PG during his past two games. We have a legitimate Rookie of the Year candidate in Memphis, and the word is going to get out as he continues to see more playing time. The Michigan State product has started 17 of 19 games this season.

Others on the rise this week include Mike Conley (52), D'Angelo Russell (57), John Collins (59), JaVale McGee (62), Montrezl Harrell (72), Willie Cauley-Stein (73), Ricky Rubio (84) and Jabari Parker (97).

Several notables went the other way in this week's rankings. Inconsistent production and a lack of versatility dropped Dario Saric to 95, while recent shooting struggles from Brook Lopez drop the Milwaukee 7-footer to 96.

Saric has failed to reach double-digits in scoring during three of his first six games with the Timberwolves, and his playing time has dipped from 30.5 MPG in 13 games with the 76ers this season to 24.0 MPG with the T-Wolves. Not good. If this continues, he will soon fall out of the top 100.

Not long ago, Lopez had found success from 3-point range, but that already feels like ancient history thanks to an ice cold stretch from long range. In fact, he went 0-12 from 3-point land in an improbable loss to the Suns on Friday.
