Fantasy football last-minute pickups for Week 11: Ty Chandler leads the way

Ty Chandler is poised to take on a large workload Sunday with Alexander Mattison still in concussion protocol. Steven Bisig/USA TODAY Sports

Each week throughout the NFL regular season, we will discuss the top fantasy football streaming options. These are deeper-league targets who have shown viable production or fit as a matchup-dependent play to give you a boost in the lineup this week.

Players listed below are rostered in under 50% of ESPN leagues entering this week's waiver period. Although you might notice overlap with Eric Moody's waiver wire column that publishes Mondays, an important distinction is that the options mentioned in this column are focused solely on this week's matchup and not on the players' values for the remainder of the season.

Looking at the Week 11 slate, it's pretty light on quarterbacks, so we'll start at running back with a player who is in a position to get volume this week. There's also a blitz-heavy defense that is taking the ball away and worth a look.

All references to fantasy points are for PPR leagues.

Let's keep an eye on the injury status of Alexander Mattison (concussion), as Chandler could quickly elevate to the lead role this week. However, even if Mattison is able to play, I still see opportunities for Chandler after he rushed 15 times for 45 yards and a touchdown this past Sunday against the Saints. Chandler has the North/South traits to produce on downhill schemes, and he plays behind his pads on contact. While he didn't see a target in Week 10, Chandler can be deployed as a receiver on backfield releases.
