Gokhan Tore set to sign for West Ham on loan from Besiktas - sources

West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign winger Gokhan Tore on loan from Besiktas, sources have told ESPN FC.

Sources told ESPN FC in May that West Ham were in talks to sign Turkey international Tore, and they are now close to completing the transfer.

Tore, 24, has been a long-term target for Hammers boss Slaven Bilic with the Croatian coach having tried to sign him last summer when he took over at the London club.

Bilic worked with Tore during his spell in charge of Besiktas and feels he will be a suitable addition to his squad for next season as he looks to build on last campaign's seventh-place finish in the Premier League.

West Ham are set to secure the former Chelsea player on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

The English side will pay Besiktas €3 million for the agreement with Tore in England ahead of finalising the switch.
