The Sun thinks so, claiming the goalkeeper could end his "Burnley hell" with a heaven-sent stint in Major League Soccer.
Hart's name has apparently been thrown into the MLS mix for a stateside transfer window that doesn't shut until May.
Not too long ago, of course, he was England's No. 1 and one of the most highly regarded keepers in world football. Now it looks like he could be off to a league that would welcome a player of his profile and stature.
It's a move Hart could be open to, given how limited his opportunities are at Burnley, where Tom Heaton and Nick Pope -- a reported target for Arsenal -- look to have the goalkeeping slots tied up.
Hart hasn't played for the Clarets since their 5-1 Boxing Day thumping by Everton, and manager Sean Dyche has said he would listen to offers if the keeper wanted to leave. That time might be now.

15.30 GMT: It's safe to say that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, linked with Leicester after the sacking of Claude Puel, isn't giving anything away. "My message is always very, very clear," he said ahead of his side's game against Motherwell. "I'm very concentrated on the game. There's always speculation around football."
14.30 GMT: Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has brushed off ongoing speculation linking Neymar with a move to Real Madrid, saying: "Neither Real Madrid, nor any other club in the world, needs to call us about Neymar or any other player."
13.30 GMT: French champions Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Fiorentina forward Federico Chiesa, according to reports in Italy, but could face a battle with Juventus for his signature.
12.30 GMT: Aston Villa manager Dean Smith wants to strengthen his defence, and reports suggest he sees Barnsley defender Liam Lindsay as a man who could help do just that. Lindsay has starred for the League One side, who are challenging for promotion.
11.25 GMT: Real Madrid left-back Marcelo has told the club he wants to leave, according to TeleMadrid.
The local TV station claims the Brazilian, who has been at the Bernabeu since 2007, wants to be reunited with former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus.
10.25 GMT: Leicester City have sacked manager Claude Puel after Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
Puel leaves the King Power Stadium with the club 12th in Premier League after a run of five defeats in their last six matches. The Foxes also suffered a shock exit in the FA Cup third round to League Two Newport County.
Leicester confirmed Puel's departure in a statement on Sunday morning. The Frenchman said after the defeat to Palace: "Of course we are in difficulty. We were in trouble at the end. It is normal for the fans to be worried, I understand this. The players need confidence, they have played well without fair reward in the last few games."
09.30 GMT: Ivan Rakitic has said he is not thinking of any other club other than Barcelona amid reports of interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.
Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have all been linked with the Croatia playmaker, who will have to compete for a place in the team with incoming signing Frenkie de Jong next season.
However, speaking after Barcelona's 4-2 win at Sevilla on Saturday, the 30-year-old -- whose contract at Camp Nou expires in June 2021 -- said: "I have three more years on my contract, I want to stay here. I'm full of pride that big clubs ask for me, if they do. I only see myself at Barcelona, it makes me laugh a little when I have my morning coffee."
PAPER TALK (by Richard Edwards): Wan the man for Arsenal
The Sun says Arsenal are readying the chequebook and ready to stump up £40m for Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Gunners have long been admirers of the full-back, who has shone for Roy Hodgson's side this season, and now Unai Emery is preparing to sanction a move for the player.
Palace want a big fee, but Arsenal aren't going to baulk at those demands and could make Wan-Bissaka one of their most highly paid stars next season.
Zola in talks with Chelsea over manager's job
The Sunday Times reports that Gianfranco Zola has been approached by Chelsea to take over as interim manager as they continue to consider the future of under-fire Maurizio Sarri.
Former Stamford Bridge star Zola is Sarri's No. 2 but is understood to have had discussions about taking over as boss.
If and when that happens is anyone's guess, but the paper claims that any decision to hand Zola the reins would be welcomed by a fan base that has begun to turn against Sarri.
