Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye have officially announced that Cameroon international midfielder Christian Bassogog has joined them.
Bassogog, named Most Valuable Player as Cameroon won the African Nations Cup last month, has joined Henan from Danish club Aalborg, with his arrival announced on the club's social media outlets.
Henan Jianye did not release details of the deal, but reports in Denmark said the 21-year-old had joined for €6 million.
The club narrowly escaped relegation from the Chinese Super League last season, finishing in 13th place, three points clear of Hangzhou Greentown.
