The son of former Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has been called up to the England under-16s squad for the Montaigu tournament in France next month.
D'Margio Wright-Phillips is one of five Manchester City academy players to be named in the touring party.
His call-up continues a proud family tradition, with both his father and his grandfather, Ian Wright, having won international recognition and gone on to represent the senior England side.
Shaun Wright-Phillips, who played for City, Chelsea, QPR and New York Red Bulls, is currently playing for United Soccer League team Phoenix Rising FC.
He won 36 England caps and scored six goals while Arsenal legend Ian Wright won 33 senior caps and scored nine goals.
The under-16 squad also includes Tommy Doyle, the grandson of former City star Mike Doyle, with a total of 22 City academy players having received international callups within the past two weeks.
Thirteen of those have represented England teams.
