Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus returns to training with the ball

Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has resumed training with the ball some six months after undergoing knee surgery.

Germany international Reus trained in Dortmund's "Footbonaut" alongside teammates Lukasz Piszczek and Erik Durm.

Reus, 28, has not featured for BVB since the DFB Pokal final in May, during which he suffered a partial cruciate ligament tear.

But on Wednesday the club released footage on social media that showed Reus back in action with the ball.

In late September, German media reported that Reus was expected to resume full team training in March. He resumed running in November.

Meanwhile, Piszczek, who sustained a knee injury in early October, is expected to be back with the Dortmund team when the second half of the Bundesliga season begins in January.
