Although his career ended with a postseason loss, David Ortiz is looking at the positives entering retirement.
The 40-year-old slugger tweeted a short letter to his Boston Red Sox teammates, the fans, his family and friends on Wednesday, urging all to focus on the good things that happened this season.

Ortiz hit .315 with 38 home runs, 127 RBIs and a league-leading 1.021 OPS in the final season of his iconic 20-year career. The Red Sox won the American League East but were swept by the Cleveland Indians in the AL Division Series.
