          Chris Paul's age (30) and the desire of owner Steve Ballmer and coach Doc Rivers to win a championship have combined to produce a sense of urgency for the Clippers.

          Meanwhile, Blake Griffin's broken hand and the Clippers' stellar play in his absence mean that he's now the subject of trade discussions. On Monday, Chris Broussard reported on ESPN that the Clippers had offered Griffin to the Nuggets for a package of four players.
