Dallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to address an injury to the labrum of his right shoulder.
Brunson, 23, suffered the injury in the first quarter against the Atlanta Hawks on Feb. 22. He exited the game and had not played since.
The second-year guard averaged 8.2 points, 3.3 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game this season.
