Result: The Dragons were able to defeat the Titans in an often sloppy game at Suncorp Stadium. The Titans lost new fullback Corey Thompson to a failed HIA after he was collected high by Dragons winger Jordan Pereira. Dragons fullback Matthew Dufty combined well Zac Lomax for the first try of the match, before both wingers crossed for four-pointers to complete the Dragons' scoring. The back-to-back wins lift the Dragons off the bottom of the ladder and takes some pressure off coach Paul McGregor.

Result: The Wests Tigers used a red hot start to cruise to a 16-point bounce back win over the Cowboys. Trailing 0-34 at half time, the Cowboys had nothing to lose in their second half fightback scoring three tries in five minutes, but it was too little too late. The win keeps the Tigers in touch with the top eight.

Result: It was hyped up as the game of the season and rightly so, with the Sydney Roosters overcoming the ladder-leading Eels in an entertaining contest and handing them their first defeat of the season. The Roosters' 8-0 half time advantage was short-lived as Parramatta rallied early in the second half to go 10-8 up, but tries to Cordner and Tupou ensured the points went the way of the reigning champs.
