It's a big day for India at the Paris Olympics 2024. Neeraj Chopra, the reigning world and Olympic champion, will be in action in the javelin throw final on Thursday.
Neeraj qualified for the final after just one throw - 89.34m and it was the best throw of the qualification. He's expected to get strong competition from the likes of Arshad Nadeem, Anderson Peters and Jakub Vadlejch.

12:30 PM: Golf - Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar in women's individual stroke play round 3.
2:05 PM: Athletics - Jyothi Yarraji finished fourth in women's 100m hurdles repechage, thus bowing out of the competition.
2:30 PM onwards: Wrestling - Aman Sehrawat beat Vladimir Egorov of North Macedonia in the men's 57kg round of 16 bout by a 10-0 scoreline. He then defeated former world champion Zelimkhan Abakarov in the quarterfinal by a 11-0 scoreline.
2:30 PM onwards: Wrestling - Anshu Malik lost 2-7 to Helen Maroulis of the USA in the women's 57kg round of 16 bout. She still has the chance of a repechage should former Olympic and world champion Maroulis reach the final.
5:30 PM: Hockey - India beat Spain 2-1 to win the men's hockey bronze medal.
9:45 PM onwards: Wrestling - Aman Sehrawat loses to top seed Rei Higuchi of Japan in the men's 57kg semifinal.
However, Aman will be in action the bronze medal on Friday against Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz.
11:55 PM: Athletics - Neeraj Chopra wins silver in the men's javelin throw final.

Jamaica's Hansle Parchment is the reigning Olympic champion. He is expected to get stiff competition from reigning worlds champion Grant Holloway, who also has the world leading timing this season.
