Jamie Murray and doubles partner John Peers have won the Hamburg Open title after a laborious final match against Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah.

Murray and Peers bounced back from their Wimbledon runner-up finish to eventually dispatch their Colombian opponents 2-6 6-3 10-8.

The British and Australian duo beat Florian Mayer and Jiri Vesely along with Frank Moser and Jan Lennard Struff in straight sets en route to the final, which was then kindly assisted when they were handed a walkover in the semis.

Jamie's brother, two-time singles grand slam champion Andy, tweeted his congratulations to the pair:

Andy himself also looks set to return to the courts this week as he opens his hard-court campaign in the US Series at Washington.
