Mississippi State junior Chloe Bibby has entered the transfer portal following coach Vic Schaefer's decision to leave the Bulldogs to coach the Texas Longhorns.
"I want to say a massive thank you to the fans for embracing me and making the past three years an incredible experience," Bibby wrote on Twitter on April 6.
The Bulldogs, who were 27-6 and finished second in the SEC this past season, did not rely a lot on the 3-pointer. But most of their firepower from behind the arc came from Bibby, who led the team with 38 treys. She started 31 of 33 games, averaging 7.5 points and 5.2 rebounds.
The 6-foot-1 forward from Australia was a reserve on the 2017-18 team that went to the national championship game and lost to Notre Dame.
She was a starter for 18 games in 2018-19, averaging 11.9 points and 4.1 rebounds, before tearing her ACL on Jan. 17, 2019, and missing the rest of the season.
