Here are 10 battles featuring Big 12 teams that will get settled during what should be another drama-filled national signing day. Keep an eye on these guys:

1. LB K'Lavon Chaisson: Despite official visits to Colorado and Florida in the final week of his recruitment, Chaisson still seems likely to be a 50-50 battle between Texas and LSU down to the last minute. The pass-rusher from North Shore High in Houston finished No. 34 in the final ESPN 300 and should make an immediate impact off the edge no matter where he goes. He'd be the top-ranked recruit in the Longhorns' class and a significant victory for new coach Tom Herman and his staff. If Chaisson picks LSU, that would mean nine of the top 10 recruits in the state of Texas are leaving the state, and none of them are going to Big 12 programs.

2. S Todd Harris: The No. 83 ranked recruit in the ESPN 300 put TCU in his final four along with LSU, Alabama and Arizona State. LSU is the expected favorite for the defensive back from Plaquemine, Louisiana, but Gary Patterson and his staff did get to host Harris for his final official visit. Harris and fellow ESPN 300 star Phidarian Mathis (who decides Tuesday) might both be long shots for TCU -- it's never easy to pry these elite Louisiana kids away from LSU and Alabama -- but they were certainly worth the effort.

3. S Elijah Walker: We've got a three-team Big 12 battle for the No. 3 ranked junior college safety and No. 26 prospect in the ESPN JC 50. Walker was previously committed to Kansas State but ended up reopening his recruitment and taking official visits to TCU and Texas Tech. At this point, all three still seem to have a legitimate chance of landing him on signing day.

4. OT Stephan Zabie: When he makes his signing day announcement at 7 a.m. CT on ESPNU, Zabie will have three hats on the table: Texas, Ole Miss and UCLA. The ESPN 300 tackle from Austin Westlake took a midweek official visit to Texas last week before checking out what Ole Miss has to offer. If he stays home and picks the Longhorns, he'll be reuniting with his Westlake teammate QB Sam Ehlinger.

5. WR Danny Davis III: The four-star wideout from Springfield, Ohio, is down to West Virginia, Kentucky and Wisconsin, and it's hard to tell who's the frontrunner at this point. Finding another playmaker at receiver would be huge for West Virginia after the staff parted ways with four-star WR Michael Harley, their top-rated commit. Landing three-star WR Reggie Roberson out of Texas on Monday was a good start, but Davis would be a great get to finish off the class.

6. LB Devodrick Johnson: This recruitment has been interesting to say the least. "Buddy" Johnson initially committed to Texas A&M in July. He decommitted in August. He re-committed to A&M in November. Then he took an official visit to Baylor this weekend and announced he's signing with either A&M or Baylor. Swiping the three-star athlete from Dallas would be quite a coup for Matt Rhule's staff.

7. CB Michael Onyemaobi: After recently decommitting from Cal, Onyemaobi shifted his focus to a final three of TCU, Iowa State and Nebraska. The three-star athlete gave glowing reviews of his official visit to TCU, but he did give the Huskers his final visit. Iowa State's staff built a great relationship with Onyemaobi and has stayed in this race until the very end.

8. LB Demarco Artis: Right after the coveted pass-rusher from Florida took his official visit to Baylor, he backed off his commitment to Florida State. That means good news for the Bears, right? The new staff still has some serious competition for Artis in Oregon, and the Ducks hosted the three-star standout for his final official visit this weekend.

9. WR Jordan Pouncey: Texas made a big impression on the three-star receiver from Winter Park, Florida, during his official visit and has a shot at his signature along with Miami, Tennessee and Notre Dame. The former Fighting Irish commit grew up a Texas fan, but Miami is a major contender and the Vols got his final official visit. Could be a close call.

10. LB Daniel Green: One of the top targets left on the board for Kansas State is Green, a three-star linebacker from Portland who decommitted from USC in December. Since then, he's taken official visits to Utah, K-State and Ole Miss. Utah seems to be the perceived favorite, but the Wildcats' staff has put a lot of work in on this one and hosted him for the Jan. 20 weekend. They've got a shot here.
