Here are this week's players of the week in the Big 12, as announced by the conference on Monday:
Offense: Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma.
Jones had a career-high 36 completions on 51 passes for 370 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Oklahoma's 31-29 win against Cincinnati. He also set a career-best with 13 consecutive completions early in the game. It's the fourth time Jones has won the award and the second time this season.
Defense: Jake Knott, LB, Iowa State
Knott had 11 tackles, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass as a member of the Cyclones defense that shut out Northern Iowa in Iowa State's 27-0 win on Saturday.
Special Teams: D.J. Beshears, RB/KR, Kansas
Beshears returned a kick 96 yards for a touchdown in Kansas' win against New Mexico State, and had a pair of other rushing touchdowns.
