Harsin's bag of tricks already open

DALLAS -- Bryan Harsin made a name for himself coordinating one of the best and most balanced offenses in college football at Boise State.

However, his name is also synonymous with trick plays. He's already busted one open against the Sooners on the Longhorns' second drive, which ended in a field goal.

Texas trails, 6-3, late in the first quarter.

The Longhorns sent linemen lined up wide and Case McCoy slung out a quick pass to a waiting Foswhitt Whittaker near the sidelines. The play only went for a few yards, but Oklahoma better be on its toes for more.

Texas' offense gained a little rhythm on its second drive and threatened in Oklahoma territory before a big tipped pass on third down stuffed the drive.
