OSU defense keeps making plays

STILLWATER, Okla.--This has to be seen to be believed.

Oklahoma State's defense has prided itself on making plays when necessary, but today? This is just unbelievable, and morphing into a bit of self-parody even.

To summarize, the defense has:

  • Stopped Baylor for no points on five plays inside its 5-yard line

  • Intercepted Robert Griffin III in the end zone

  • Picked off Griffin again on a tipped ball at its 11-yard line

  • Forced a turnover on downs at its 32-yard line

And we're not even done with the first half yet!

Oklahoma State leads 35-0, despite outgaining the Bears just 311-248.

I've never seen anything quite like this defense, which is putting together a unique brand of unbelievable today. It's winning the turnover battle 3-0, but the offense has looked unstoppable, too.

This game got lopsided fast, and it's doing it just the way Oklahoma State hoped it could.
