ARLINGTON, Texas -- We're still a couple of hours from kickoff for Friday night's AT&T Cotton Bowl, but just like last year, expect a big, loud crowd.
We've already got a great matchup between No. 6 Arkansas and No. 8 Kansas State.
It's the first time in 18 years the Cotton Bowl has had a matchup of two Top-10 teams, and in that same vein, two teams very worthy of a bid to a BCS game.
Kansas State fans showed up 15,000 strong to a pep rally Thursday night across the street at Rangers Ballpark, and if you've ever been to a pep rally, you know that football games are, well, a lot better.
Texas A&M and LSU produced one of the best crowds of the season in the Big 12 here last year, and K-State and Arkansas should produce something similar. Hog fans love to flood Dallas, and they've done it this weekend.
Additionally, the roof here at Cowboys Stadium is closed. I'm no scientist (if I was, I'd be, you know, a scientist), but I have to think that can't do anything but make the volume in cavernous JerryWorld even louder.
We'll have plenty of coverage right here throughout the night, so keep checking back.
