Tyson Fury made sure all eyes were on him during Wednesday's press conference with Wladimir Klitschko after turning up dressed in a Batman costume.
The pair met at the Hilton Hotel in west London ahead of their world heavyweight title fight in Dusseldorf, Germany, on October 24 and Ukrainian Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) claimed it was the most "entertaining" press conference of his 19-year career.
Fury (24-0, 18 KOs), 27, entered the room to Batman's famous theme tune dressed as the 'Caped Crusader' and ran around to cheers from his family and team members.
The farcical scenes continued as a man dressed as the Joker then fronted up to Fury, who jumped down from the top table - knocking some of Klitschko's WBA, IBF and WBO title belts over in the process - and had a mock scuffle with his arch enemy.
"That's how you will be looking when you face me on October 24. He is a fool, just like you are!" said Fury, as he marched the Joker out of the room.
Fury then re-entered wearing a smart suit and apologised for being late, before continuing his insults towards Klitschko.
"You've never fought a Gypsy King before. I cannot wait," he said. "Welcome to my city, welcome to my town, UK baby.
"It's a very personal mission for me to rid boxing of a boring person like you. I've fallen asleep listening to you. You have as much charisma as my underpants - zero, none!
"You are a robotic person who is not exciting to watch. Jab, jab, hold, that's all you do. You are boring and all of Europe wants to see you get beaten.
"You have a chin like a piece of glass and when I hit it, it will explode like this glass against that wall. What am I afraid of? A man who has had 20 defences against bums? I'm not interested in your titles, I'm only interested in breaking your face in."
Klitschko laughed off the 6ft 9in Manchester boxer's histrionics. "I have good friends with the Cirque du Soleil and they can give you a good job as a clown," he responded.
He later told Sky Sports: "It was the most entertaining press conference I've had in 25 years of boxing. It was entertaining and funny. His insecurity of inside is covered up by all the nonsense. But I was shocked when he said he would go after the referee if he gives me any advantage.
"How can that [press conference antics] affect me? I'm preparing for one of the toughest battles of my career. I think he's bipolar, a psychopath. I can make him a fitter person and the treatment is the fight. It will be reality rehab in how to behave himself.
"I'm not underestimating Tyson Fury as a boxer. He's very unpredictable -- he probably doesn't know himself what he's going to do. His size and reach makes it difficult to fight him I the ring and I'm not going to underestimate his boxing.
"There is a lot of insecurities in this man. I think there is a lot of bipolar inside this man. There are definitely psychological issues that need to be fixed.
"I promised the same thing for David Haye [in 2011] and he is definitely a better person after our fight. I can do the same with Tyson Fury. I can change this man to be a better person."
