Floyd Mayweather may have dismissed talk of an MMA version of his superfight with Conor McGregor, but that hasn't stopped him increasing speculation of a cross-code switch.
Hours after posting a picture of their battle last August, the unbeaten American boxer posted a video on social media which showed him stepping inside the octagon.

And if it was a ploy to generate a response from the UFC lightweight champion, it had the desired result, with McGregor responding:
Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son.

Yours sincerely,

McGregor has repeatedly challenged Mayweather to face him in the octagon, but Mayweather has always brushed it off.
Mayweather defeated McGregor by TKO in their Las Vegas megafight, at the T-Mobile Arena.
