What's gone right: The Brewers have legitimate weapons on offense. Ryan Braun had a mild revival last year after two subpar seasons, which followed a campaign cut short by a PED suspension; this year, he has returned to the form that made him a perennial MVP candidate. In fact, with a batting line this year of .328/.383/.546, Braun is having his best year since his MVP-winning and runner-up seasons in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
