Toughest games: Aug. 30 versus Wisconsin (70 percent chance of winning), Oct. 4 at Auburn (47 percent), Nov. 8 versus Alabama (41 percent)
Why they will make the playoff
1. Their offensive line
Each offseason, people trying to make predictions for the upcoming season often make the same mistake: There is way too much love given to teams for having returning stars at quarterback, running back and receiver, and there's never enough consideration given to how many starters are back on the offensive line. That said, LSU should have one of the better offensive lines in college football this season.
