Cuonzo Martin landed another ESPN 100 prospect at Missouri on Monday, with four-star center Jeremiah Tilmon signing with the Tigers.

Tilmon, a 6-foot-10 center from East St. Louis High School (Illinois), originally signed with Illinois under head coach John Groce. When Groce was fired and replaced by Brad Underwood, Tilmon requested his release from the Fighting Illini in early April. Tilmon kept his recruitment very quiet in the weeks since receiving his release, although Missouri emerged as the early leader because of his connection to Martin. Martin is from East St. Louis as well and still has family ties to the area.
Tilmon is the No. 43 prospect in the ESPN 100 and the No. 6 center in the 2017 class.
Martin has completely transformed the Missouri program since leaving California and taking over for Kim Anderson, reeling in three ESPN 100 prospects and a top-10 recruiting class in less than two months. Tilmon joins No. 1 overall prospect Michael Porter Jr. and ESPN 100 point guard Blake Harris, both of whom originally committed to Washington. Martin hired Michael Porter Sr. as an assistant coach shortly after being named the Tigers' head coach.
Canisius graduate transfer Kassius Robertson, who averaged 16.1 points and shot 41.0 percent from 3-point range, also signed with Missouri earlier this month.
Missouri is the favorite for ESPN 60 junior Jontay Porter, the younger brother of Porter Jr. and the son of Porter Sr. He visited Columbia recently and is expected to reclassify into 2017.
