Can Karl-Anthony Towns return to the top of the fantasy basketball mountain?

Entering the 2019-20 season, Karl-Anthony Towns had a legit argument to be the No. 1 overall pick in fantasy basketball drafts in either points or roto leagues. He was only 23 years old, had steadily improved every season, and was coming off a campaign in which he'd filled the stat sheet to the tune of 24.4 PPG, 12.4 RPG, 3.4 APG, 1.8 3PG, 1.6 BPG and 0.9 SPG while making 56.2% of his 2-point shots, 40.0% of his 3-pointers and 83.6% of his free throws.

He'd also had only missed five games in his entire career to that point, making him one of the iron men of the NBA.

In the two seasons since, Towns' per-game numbers have arguably gotten even stronger. He upped his scoring volume (25.5 PPG) and distribution (4.4 APG) while almost doubling his 3-pointers made (2.8 3PG) and hitting 55.8% of his 2-pointers, 39.9% of his 3-pointers and 83.2% of his free throws. His defensive and rebounding stats decreased slightly, but were still strong with 10.7 RPG, 1.2 BPG and 0.8 SPG.

Unfortunately, he's only played in 85 games total across those two seasons, missing 59 contests because of injury and illness.

The question of the day, is, can Towns reclaim his spot as a top-3 fantasy basketball prospect?
