India defeated Belgium 2-1 in Lucknow on Sunday to win their second Hockey Junior World Cup title.
The hosts, playing their third final, won thanks to goals from Gurjant Singh (eighth minute) and Simranjeet Singh (22nd minute), while Fabrice van Bockrijck (70th minute) scored a consolation goal for Belgium, who were playing their maiden final.
