Liverpool emerged victorious from a hot, cloying Champions League final after beating Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid on Saturday, and manager Jurgen Klopp reacted exactly as you would expect.
The German coach was finally able to revel in a European final victory having come so close on so many occasions previously in his career.

The 51-year-old, eyes already a little bleary, couldn't help but break into song while being interviewed after the final whistle on Norwegian TV.
All in all, it was an unforgettable night for Klopp and his side at the Wanda Metropolitano.
And then, in true hero fashion, they returned to Liverpool in the early hours of Sunday morning to get ready for phase two...

What a day for a parade!
It didn't take long for Klopp and the Champions League-winning Reds to return home from Madrid and begin their celebrations immediately. The victory parade was scheduled for Sunday morning -- 11 a.m. local time -- as the players took to the buses to share their sixth European Cup/Champions League title with the faithful fans.

Divock Origi: The world's most lethal striker
It might not sound right saying it out loud, but Liverpool super-sub Divock Origi is statistically speaking, as of the 2019 Champions League final, the most lethal striker in world football this season.
The Belgium international found the net with all 100 percent of his shots in the 2018-19 Champions League -- all three of them! That's two goals from two attempts in the 4-0 semifinal comeback win over Barcelona, and one from one after coming on in the final against Tottenham to score the title-clinching second late on.
How's that for a ratio? That's 117 minutes on the pitch, three shots, three goals and one trophy at the end of it all.
Amazingly, Origi can also boast a goal every 96 minutes this season, including the winning goal in the Merseyside derby and an important (at least it was at the time) winner against Newcastle during Liverpool's title run-in.

The pair have had plenty of run-ins down the years as managers, but they appeared to get on well as they shared punditry duties for the final.
Spurs fans' epic flight woe
It should have been the trip of a lifetime to watch their beloved football team play in a Champions League final but unfortunately a group of Tottenham fans fell victim to the travel gods on their way to Madrid.
However bad it was for the 62,000 Spurs supporters who watched a screening of the final at the club's new stadium, or the millions who watched around the world, they could have had it a lot worse.
