Vancouver Whitecaps agree Jordon Mutch loan with Palace - sources

The Vancouver Whitecaps have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace for midfielder Jordon Mutch, sources with knowledge of the deal have told ESPN FC.

Mutch will move to MLS on a 12-month loan, which is expected to be announced in the next 24-48 hours.

The 26-year-old's future at Palace has been the subject of speculation for some time with the midfielder not figuring in first-team plans this season.

Mutch has not made a single appearance for Roy Hodgson's side this season and has only featured three times on the bench.

Mutch, who joined Palace from Queens Park Rangers in January 2015, spent the second half of last season out on loan at Reading, but returned to the club last summer.

The former England under-21 international was linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers on loan on transfer deadline day in January, but the deal fell through.
