Watford are in advanced talks to sign Chelsea winger Kenedy on loan, sources close to the Hornets have told ESPN FC.
Walter Mazzarri is looking to add to Watford's attacking options before the close of the transfer window and is hopeful of a striking a deal in the coming days.
Kenedy joined Chelsea last summer from Fluminense and he made 20 appearances in all competitions in his debut season at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Brazilian has hardly figured in preseason under new coach Antonio Conte who is thought to have informed the 20-year-old he can go out on loan in search of regular first-team football.
Chelsea want Kenedy play regularly next season so that he can continue his development and Mazzarri sees the player's versatility as a key addition to his side as he can play at left-back or left wing.
