Rayo Vallecano have announced the signings of two new players with Antonio Amaya and Derek Boateng joining the Primera Division club.
Experienced centre-back Amaya, 31, has agreed a two-year deal with Rayo, returning to the club where he started his career. He also spent a season on loan at Vallecas from Wigan in 2010.

Amaya had been at Real Betis for the last two seasons but was unable to help them avoid relegation from the top flight last term.
Boateng is another new arrival at Rayo after agreeing a one-year contract with the Madrid-based club.

The much-travelled Ghana international spent last season at Fulham, having also played for the likes of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Getafe, Cologne and Panathinaikos during his career.
Boateng played only three league matches for Fulham as they were relegated from the Premier League, while Rayo finished 12th in La Liga last season.
