Ronaldinho could be set for a shock move to the Mexican league, as Queretaro sporting director Adolfo Rios revealed the club were in talks with him.
The Brazilian star, 34, has attracted the interest of a host of clubs -- including English lower league side Basingstoke -- as he is available on a free transfer having left Atlético Mineiro in July.
However, Queretaro appear to be in pole position as Rios told Televisa on Friday: "There are negotiations, but nothing has yet been sealed. We'll have to wait."
Ronaldinho is currently in Mexico to speak at a charity event and tweeted a picture of himself outside a Mexico City museum on Friday.
