PARMA, Italy -- Parma winger Jonathan Biabiany is out indefinitely after doctors discovered a heart problem.
An irregular heartbeat was discovered when Biabiany was having a medical ahead of his failed move to AC Milan, general manager Pietro Leonardi said at a news conference on Thursday.
The 26-year-old Biabiany was given the medical all-clear to play in July.
"Jonathan will only get back onto the field when we have total safety for his health," Leonardi said.

Leonardi claimed Biabiany's condition was not the reason the move to Milan fell through, saying the Rossoneri doctors told them about it only after the deal failed.
The reason given at the time was Cristian Zaccardo's refusal to make the move to Parma in exchange.
Meanwhile, Parma defender Mattia Cassani was "99 percent likely" to need surgery on a back problem and will be out for two to four months.
