Alessandro Matri has re-joined Juventus on loan from AC Milan, the Italian champions have announced.
Matri, 30, played under current Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri for two seasons at Cagliari before Allegri left to take over at Milan and Matri moved to Turin.
Matri's first stint with Juventus, which lasted two seasons, saw him find the back of the net 29 times in 83 appearances before Allegri, then with Milan, signed him a second time in 2013.
After joining Milan, though, the goals dried up, and he was allowed to spend time on loan at Fiorentina last year before eventually rediscovering his goal-scoring touch with Genoa this season, scoring seven times in 16 Serie A appearances.

That convinced Allegri and Juve to bring him back to Turin to plug a gap following the sale of Sebastian Giovinco to Toronto FC.
Allegri had said on Sunday that Juve were looking to sign either Matri or Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
"The club will evaluate which one we'll take," Allegri said on Sunday. "Matri and Osvaldo are both great players. It's the last day of the transfer window and Giovinco has left so we need another forward between now and the end of the season because four is too few."
