It's not often the worlds of WWE and League Two football collide, but they did so to devastating effect on Saturday afternoon.
Two goals from Adebayo Akinfenwa helped the Chairboys register a 3-2 victory over Port Vale, the second of which -- a 25th-minute diving header -- was celebrated with a routine lifted directly from The Rock's playbook.

After steering the ball home, Akinfenwa lived up to his reputation as the lower league's go-to muscle man by dropping The People's Elbow on teammate Luke O'Nienβ.
Indeed, the finishing move was so accurately and expertly executed that it even earned an admiring nod from Dwayne Johnson himself.

"Heart stoppin' elbow droppin'.... well done brotha," tweeted Johnson as the wrestler-turned-Hollywood star took time out of his busy schedule to praise Akinfenwa's technique.
