Marseille have confirmed that they have agreed a deal with Newcastle for winger Florian Thauvin to return to the club on loan.
Thauvin, 23, joined the Magpies from Marseille in a £12 million deal in August 2015 and made 16 appearances.
In January, he returned to the Stade Velodrome on loan and Marseille have now secured another loan deal, which Newcastle said could become a permanent move.

Marseille sporting director Gunter Jacob confirmed the agreement at a news conference, saying: "I'm very pleased with this agreement in principle with Newcastle this morning for the arrival of Florian Thauvin.
"It's necessary that we might be more creative than other clubs to keep to the budget that I've been entrusted with."
Coach Franck Passi said Thauvin "will join the team as soon as possible."
