Hull City have agreed to sign Dynamo Kiev striker Dieumerci Mbokani on loan, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.
Mbokani, 30, spent last season on loan at Norwich City, where he scored seven goals in 29 Premier League appearances but was unable to prevent the Canaries from being relegated.
The DR Congo international is down the pecking order at Dynamo Kiev's plans, and the club are prepared to send him out on loan again.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in signing him, but Hull have moved first to agree a deal.
Caretaker manager Mike Phelan is keen to boost his squad before the window closes on Wednesday night and wants to bring in Mbokani to add to the signings of Ryan Mason and Will Keane.
