Major League Soccer's Brent Kallman wins big on the World Poker Tour

Minnesota United defender Brent Kallman insists he is not contemplating a career change after a bumper payday at the World Poker Tour's Seminole Rock 'N Roll Open.

The 28-year-old won more than $62,000 in four days at the event -- an amount just shy of his Major League Soccer salary of $85,000 per year.

Kallman finished two spots from the final table at the tournament, but says he has no plans to give up soccer and become a full-time poker player.

"Nobody has to worry about me; I'll be back to business and back to training soon here," he told the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

"That's always a weird deal when you win that much money in four days, but nothing's going to change for me."
