Ludogorets' Jody Lukoki: Paris Saint-Germain are not playing like a team

Ludogorets Razgrad's Jody Lukoki has revealed his surprise at how easy it was to play against Paris Saint-Germain in the Bulgarians' 2-2 Champions League draw on Tuesday.

PSG needed a win against Georgi Dermendzhiev's men but their visitors surprised them by twice taking the lead through Virgil Misidjan and Wanderson at Parc des Princes.

It took a spectacular equaliser from Edinson Cavani and a scrappy late leveller from Angel Di Maria to claim a point but that was not enough for PSG to stop Arsenal from taking top spot in Group A when it was within reach for Unai Emery's men.

Lukoki, a 24-year-old DR Congo international winger for Ludogorets, told L'Equipe of his surprise at how he "got the impression they were not playing as a team" and claimed their hosts "did not know what to do on the pitch."

He added: "The problem is that they do not communicate among themselves. They need someone who stands up, grabs them and says 'OK, guys, let's go, let's move.'

"It is the captain's role to talk but he must not be the only one -- he must be backed up by two or three other players who motivate and encourage the rest of the team."

Lukoki was left in no doubt about the talent the French champions possess but suggested they might still be missing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left for Manchester United on a free transfer this summer.

"Individually, they are obviously very good footballers but if they passed more and played as a unit, they would be a much stronger team," Lukoki said. "It could be that they are a little lost since Zlatan left!"

PSG finishing second in Group A means they will now have to face one of the group winners in the Champions League's round of 16.

Les Parisiens could be drawn against any of Napoli, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Leicester City and Juventus on Monday.
