Chapecoense goalkeeper Danilo, who died in the Colombia air crash at the age of 31, has been posthumously named Brazil's Player of the Year in an internet vote by fans.
Danilo -- whose fine performance against San Lorenzo helped Chapecoense reach the Copa Sudamericana final, the biggest match in their history -- got 48 percent of votes in the poll on Monday.
His mother, Ilaides Padilha, accepted the award at a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro.
She said: "In the name of Chapecoense, I want to thank everyone for their affection and ask for their prayers.
"May the future warriors that come to Chapecoense be like the warriors that left there."
Seventy-one people died when the plane, which had been carrying Chapecoense players to the Copa Sudamericana final, crashed into mountains outside Medellin.
Meanwhile, Brazilian league winners Palmeiras took seven of the 11 places in the Football Writers' Player of the Year awards.
Striker Gabriel Jesus, set to join Manchester City, was named as the Player of the Year.
