The Portland Timbers will be without midfielder Diego Valeri and goalkeeper Jake Gleeson for Sunday's match at FC Dallas.
Valeri, who was stretchered off the field against the Vancouver Whitecaps last week, has what manager Caleb Porter called a "minor, grade one hip strain." However, he is expected to return against the San Jose Earthquakes on May 6.
Gleeson, who missed the match with the Whitecaps, is trying to make his way back from a hip flexor injury, but should be back training next week, according to Porter.
Valeri, 30, has scored five goals and provided three assists in eight games for the first-place Timbers thus far.
Gleeson, a New Zeland international, had started in every game for Portland this term before the injury.
